How It Works
Rebuilding video from scratch.
Regenerate uses cutting-edge diffusion models to completely reconstruct your video at the pixel level. Rather than enhancing existing details, it generates entirely new pixels guided by the original content.
This approach excels with severely degraded footage—heavy compression artifacts, extreme noise, or very low resolutions that would challenge traditional upscaling. The model essentially "imagines" what the scene should look like, using its training on millions of video frames.
The tradeoff is speed: Regenerate is significantly slower than Refocus, requiring more computational power per frame. It's ideal for special projects where quality matters more than processing time.
